Headline in copy is 80% of the success of the copy. Many Guru believe that and I know one that proved it by have the copy talking about two different books but his headline still got through and make the mailing a success.
Now for classifieds, these are the hardest to do. First you can’t sell much for them only to get them to reply for additional information. Now, if you’re selling a catalog or something similar, that may work for something $3.00 or less. But most the time is for two or 3 steps selling.
Here are some good classifieds :( These can also be headlines) and the above be can be used as classifieds. You just have to put about how to get future information and how to contact you for a free something, like a report.
