GOALS ARE A JOKE!

Let us discuss goals and here are two:
Goal 1: 60 clients paying me $140 per month with a total gross profit of $100,800.
Goal 2: Sell 45,000 books at $19.95 with a total gross profit $897, 750.
This tells us very little of what we have to do to achieve these goals.
Here is what the Greatest Guru of Business that ever lived, Edward W. Deming, had to say on the subject. If you never heard of him go to the net and buy one of the books he wrote or one about his methods. He was responsible for bringing Japan into the 20 and 21st century in business.
Here is why he did not like goals: "A goal without a method for reaching it is useless,", but setting goals without describing how they are going to be accomplished is a common practice among American managers".
Let's go back our problem which is how are we going to sell to just 60 clients and convince them to pay us $140 per month.
First we have to have a product or and service. I just purchased, at a considerable cost, the rights to produce some dynamite tapes and CD's on business. Since I have been a student of business for most of my life I can talk about it as long as you want to hear.
My plan is to write 3 sales letters and one post card giving away the first CD or audiotape FREE. Of course, the first letter will be in that package for the COMPLETE COURSE OF CD's and my conference calls, etc.
My office plans to buy some lists of 5000 businesses. We plan to test 1000 or less at a time.
There is another source of business names, which I do not feel I want to share right now.
Then I found some sites that I can send my message to 700 people at one time.
See the difference in the movement. That is what living marketing Guru by the name of Gary Halbert says what is needed in many businesses is movement.
Then Do it Now! Do It Now!
This is called MASSIVE ACTION and it is part of, and, the beginning of (MSI) Multiple Sources of Income.
This is more than mere goals. Read 'Think and Grow Rich' by the legendary Napoleon Hill as he goes into goals and affirmations, and the subconscious. But I only recall a few plans he talks about and he does not tie them together.
Next Month is my Birthday month.
